Megan Thee Stallion stepped into the holiday season in the most personal way possible by preparing a full Thanksgiving meal for her boyfriend Klay Thompson and his family. Her warm recap, shared through a video on her Instagram, gave a close look at how she handled her first Thanksgiving with the Thompsons.
The Grammy winning artist started the clip quietly, joking that she had to whisper because Klay was still recovering from the heavy meal she cooked the night before. The video showed Megan standing at her stove, stirring a large pot of greens she had left to cook overnight. She kept things relaxed in a white tank top with red and white boxer shorts while her hair was pinned up as she worked through each dish.
As she continued her video, she moved on to one of the core dishes she called dressing and proudly clarified that she never calls it stuffing because she follows the Southern way of doing it. The next moment showed her preparing the turkey. She jokingly said she had already injected it the night before and made sure it was packed with flavor.
When she switched to macaroni, Megan openly shared that she was nervous. Cooking for her man and his entire family meant a lot to her, and she hoped they would feel the effort she put into the meal. She added that she wanted them to know how much she cared about their son.
One part of the clip showed Megan confidently talking about her barbeque baked beans. She claimed no one could beat her on that dish and was fully ready to prove it. After she wrapped up her cooking, she documented herself getting ready, doing her hair and makeup before heading out to meet Klay’s family.
The video then shifted to the moment everything was packed and taken to the Thompsons home. Megan revealed that Klay’s father gave her a perfect ten out of ten for her cooking. She chose not to record him out of respect but shared how grateful she felt for the compliment. The day before, he had already mentioned on air that Megan would be preparing the turkey, adding that he believed all Black women are great cooks.
Megan also caught Klay in the clip, ready to fix his plate and clearly eager to eat. She teased him by asking what he was thankful for, and he replied by telling her to hurry to the table. Her spread was shown set up beautifully, surrounded by friends and family who joined the celebration.
