Country music’s biggest night returned to Nashville with the CMA Awards 2025, and the evening brought a long list of fresh wins, standout performances, and strong red carpet style. Fans tuned in from across the country to see who topped the cma winners list, how the CMA nominations played out, and who delivered the most talked-about moments of the night.
Hosted by Lainey Wilson at the Bridgestone Arena on November 19, the ceremony marked a major milestone. Wilson became the first solo female host since Reba McEntire in 1991. She promised humor and heart, and the crowd got both.
The biggest headline among the cma winners 2025 was Lainey Wilson sweeping three major categories. She earned Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Album of the Year for Whirlwind. On top of that, she delivered a performance that stood right beside her hosting duties.
One of the most exciting wins of the night came from Ella Langley and Riley Green. Their song you look like you love me picked up Single of the Year, Song of the Year, and Music Video of the Year. Their work became one of the biggest stories among fans asking who were the cma winners tonight.
Zach Top claimed New Artist of the Year after a strong run this season. Cody Johnson earned Male Vocalist of the Year, and Brooks and Dunn secured another Vocal Duo win.
Below is a simple, clear view of the major results:
The CMA red carpet delivered a strong mix of personal style and country flair. Lainey Wilson turned heads in a teal jumpsuit paired with a long green cape and cowboy hat. Kelsea Ballerini stood out in a red tulle dress shaped like a rose. LeAnn Rimes chose a clean brown gown with floral details and a high slit.
Ella Langley arrived in a sheer red lace dress with a natural makeup look. Luke Combs wore a rich burgundy suit with floral accents. Megan Moroney brought classic glamour with a black gown and opera gloves.
The carpet also featured big names like Kenny Chesney, Dan and Shay, Mickey Guyton, Colbie Caillat, and Billy Bob Thornton, each bringing their own touch of style.
Live sets from Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and other major artists brought strong energy to the show. These performances helped shape the feel of the 2025 event and added even more excitement to the final cma winners by year breakdown.
