Unplugged Performance’s shocks are compatible with the Dual-Motor AWD and Cyberbeast variants.
While the Cybertruck has sparked considerable debate, there’s no denying that the implementation of standard air suspension and rear steering enhances its appeal. Nevertheless, Tesla tuning specialist Unplugged Performance believes there’s still room for improvement.
The company has introduced a new suspension upgrade that takes things a step further by adding secondary shocks to the rear setup.
Simply called Cybershocks, this system is designed to improve ride quality on both paved and unpaved roads, as well as while towing or hauling. Each unit features adjustable compression and rebound damping, neatly fitted inside the rear wishbone for a more responsive setup.
According to Unplugged, the Cybertruck’s factory suspension has a small but noticeable flaw. As the air shocks adjust, the spring firmness changes, which can lead to the rear end being under-damped at higher speeds or when carrying heavy loads.

The secondary shocks are there to mitigate this behavior, allowing the rear suspension to recover more quickly after bumps and reducing occasional oscillations.
Installation has also been intentionally kept simple. Owners simply need to remove the wheel and a plastic cover, install the upper and lower brackets, and then mount the new shock absorber between them.

Unplugged Performance’s CyberShocks aren’t cheap, but that’s hardly surprising in the world of the Cybertruck. The kit costs $2,995 and is compatible with the EV’s dual-motor AWD and Cyberbeast variants. All come with a one-year, unlimited-mileage warranty.
Furthermore, Unplugged, which claims to have the world’s first unbreakable wheel, is encouraging Cybertruck owners to take their vehicles racing and off-roading, noting that doing so won’t void the warranty.

These shocks are the latest in a long line of accessories and upgrades already offered by the Californian company for the electric truck. It sells steel rock sliders, a carbon fiber hood, roof racks, upgraded wheels, braided brake lines, and new sway bars.
Its flagship product, a fully loaded Cybertruck equipped with all its accessories, is priced at $300,000.
