Ford has introduced a new take on its legendary Mustang line with the 2026 Mustang Mach-E GT California Special. Continuing the brand’s long-running tradition of California editions, this version gives the electric crossover a fresh look inspired by the West Coast.
Visually, the California Special edition stands out with subtle yet unique details. It features an illuminated Rave Blue pony badge, a sleek hood graphic, and exclusive 20-inch two-tone wheels finished in carbonized gray and black.

The hood design, according to exterior designer Stefan Taylor, was inspired by the California coastline with layered gray, black, and blue lines that represent the ocean at sunset. Special GT/CS badging completes the look, giving the Mustang a distinct identity within the electric lineup.
Inside, the theme continues with Navy Pier ActiveX seats and Miko inserts that enhance comfort and aesthetics. Blue stitching extends across the steering wheel and center console, where the GT/CS logo is also featured. Matching blue and silver accents appear on the floor mats, tying the design together.

Beneath the design updates, the Mustang Mach-E GT keeps its strong performance credentials. Powered by a 91 kWh battery and dual-motor all-wheel drive, it delivers 480 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque. The electric crossover can sprint from 0–60 mph in 3.8 seconds and offers up to 280 miles of range.
The California Special package adds $2,495 to the base GT price, bringing the total to $55,890 before destination fees. Orders open on October 22, giving fans a new reason to celebrate the enduring legacy of the Mustang name in the electric era.
